TIL about #SupernumeraryRainbows that I think are so much cooler than #DoubleRainbow. I am not sure of how rare these are but this is the first time I have seen them. I have seen many more double rainbows. #gawx #clouds #weather #rainbow

#PopeFrancis was the most endearing to me. He raised his voice against injustice and served for the upliftment of the needy.

May God grant the departed soul everlasting peace. And we mortals, may we aspire to carry on and live His values, and may have the grace to understand and extend His legacy.

The faintest #rainbow just as the sun was about to rise! Almost missed it and was about to dismiss as a contrail. Then, didn’t add up in my mind as to the direction and orientation if it were a contrail. Never seen anything like this ever before.

This singular moment in #ElYunque #PuertoRico kindled in me a longing for symbiotic connections. For 2025, that’s my lean-in philosophy. Be for each other, while growing self, in such a way that one’s identity is sourced from the collective experience. #HappyNewYear

Few things have arrested my sense of wonder as this 2nd century CE aqueduct bridge in Segovia, ES (Spain) has… mastery of civil engineering, art, social purpose… truly extraordinary! #spain #roman

Encroachment or mutual support?

This fungus is called fairy fingers (botanical name: Clavaria fragilis). Never seen it before. Interesting fact is that it’s edible but tasteless!

Found an almond like nut inside a nectarine. They’re all from the same prunus family so it wasn’t a surprise. The surprise was the taste. I was expecting it to be bitter. But it tasted like soaked almonds, soft and juicy.

I only buy organic fruits and tree ripened where possible, if that matters.

Not sure how many here fans of FR24… on FB, there’s a community that discusses various spottings. This one was clearly an imaging error in my mind, but someone asked anyway. The response was comic genius.

Wild oats dancing in the wind… that free mood… nary a worry of the world… simply being in the moment! A meditation just by watching… to experience stillness of being. How odd? Dance free to find the stillness within…

This dash of hot pink was strikingly different … on the same stalk, same plant. No other flower in that whole patch was that vivid!

Was introduced Col E H Taylor Small Batch bourbon. Been wanting to find out all about the hype. Fully justified. Quite hot and sweet to start but spicy after taste… love it, pricey though.

The slender vine against an aging stump of a tree that once stood there… the vine can grow only because a tree once stood there… all this led me to think something about “self made” people not acknowledging all the advantages they had from hard work of those who preceded them.

Hiked up to Amicalola Falls in North Georgia. The tallest cascade east of the Mississippi.

Was at a new car wash (new to me, hadn’t visited before), and found a wonderfully maintained cactus garden inside… lost time marveling at each succulent growing in that dry garden. Here’s a few snaps for you to enjoy.

Matterhorn is possibly the most recognizable Swiss peak, and is on the package design of Toblerone chocolate. The beauty of this mountain is only seen to be believed. The picturesque town of Zermatt only adds to the well deserved hype of being a bucketlist destination!

Went hiking in Mürren and Lauterbrunnen in the Bernese Oberland / Bernese Alps, Switzerland. Dreams fulfilled. The hills & trails are indeed filled with the sounds of cow bells and buzzing bees. Also, it’s far more lovely to see Jungfrau from Mürren than Jungfraujoch. Save money, explore on foot.
