I know what you want to say and i fully agree that many german politians are so eager to make us dependant on russia. Latest example is the prime minister of saxony (CDU). But to blame the Greens for it is just plain wrong.

Yet still they didn't do it. It was only decided in 2011 when they weren't in power. Also i don't remember Schröder and Merkel being part of the Greens.

Germany doesn't use gas or oil for power generation. The gas was mostly used for heating. We demolish villages to dig up more coal to generate more power. Also the conservatives ended the nuclear program in 2011 btw.
