Both of those qualities are myths. All of the breeds used to make "XXXdoodles" are wonderful dog breeds in their own right. Google "doodle grooming" and you will see so many nightmare stories from groomers about dogs that come in from loving owners whose breeders told them that the dogs don't shed.
