That’s Rabbi Dr. Professor to you! Faculty (Rabbinic Literature and Halakhah) at the AJU/Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, and Conservative rabbi. she/her
Rancho Palos Verdes. There’s a nice trail along the top of the palisades there. We went once or twice during the height of the pandemic lockdown to get out of the house/neighborhood.

I’m serving as a marshal so I probably won’t carry a sign, but here is my sign from last time. The man pictured here was my father-in-law.

I’m serving as a marshal so I probably won’t carry a sign, but can I please submit my sign from last time? The man pictured here was my father-in-law.

Repping for #DafReactions and #BigTalmud in beit midrash at the Hartman Institute Rabbinic Torah Seminar! (And yes, as a professor of rabbinics and halakhah at the Ziegler School, I actually DO work for Big Talmud…)

Ran out of time for fancy or clever signs for tomorrow. But this says exactly what I want to say. For those wondering, the picture is my father-in-law, Henry Seligman z”l.

Since it is about to be Shavuot, it seems appropriate to bake from #שבועות_של_געגוע.

Cheesecake brownies pictured. There are also gluten-free, nut-free, vegan brownies in the fridge for a friend with multiple food sensitivities, and a “traditional” chocolate chip cheesecake still in the oven.

No pets in our household, but how about a whale we saw in Hawaii?

That said, I could see this too making the basis of a great sign…

In fact, you can find protests wherever you are! Look how many options are available to you!!!

I've been combing the internet for interesting and clever protest sign ideas. Those who know me will know why this one jumped out at me... ;-)

I wrote to my senator 2 weeks ago after the CR fiasco. You can see the subject of my email in the header of the reply I received just today. So why is @padilla.senate.gov writing back about the Trump administration?

I can’t go to the Tesla Takedown protests on Sat., but if you can, you should, and here’s a great sign idea for you (h/t last night’s show, @maddow.msnbc.com).

Need to find a protest in your area? Check my page; I’ve posted it multiple times.

I can’t vouch for or against its authenticity, but as the person I’ve lifted it from posted, read the tasting notes…

Now, it’s pretty obvious that Christianity is not my faith tradition and the New Testament is not my scripture (check my bio), but at a moment when I’m seeing people like my own “Democratic” governor throwing some of the most vulnerable among us under the bus, this truly speaks to me. (3/fin)
