Congressional Democrats better grasp the level of fury among the base and get loud. This is pure authoritarianism, and there will be a revolt. Americans don’t do monarchies.

If you’re collecting a taxpayer-funded paycheck, the least you can do is show up for the people footing the bill. Dodging your own constituents isn’t leadership—it’s cowardice.
