I used to be a Prison Officer (offender supervisor) had several IPP prisoners on my case load. One offender had an IPP sentence for a robbery on the tube. His sentence 5 years IPP. He was still there at 12 years. Reason? Frustration got him into trouble which extended his sentence. It’s abhorrent.
