On trade deficits, Americans need to realize that we have more money to buy cheap foreign imports than many other countries. The poor in Myanmar are using money for food, not flatscreen TVs, iPhones and video games.

On trade deficits, Americans need to realize that we have more money to buy cheap foreign imports than many other countries. The poor in Myanmar are using money for food, not flatscreen TVs, iPhones and video games.
We need to educate people on what “trade barrier” means. Other countries don’t allow the toxic chemicals we do in our food and farming as well as environmental pollutants. We need to fix that, not force them to change.

I like the 12 team college football playoffs. It was odd to me that college teams couldn’t succeed unless they are perfect. These are our youngest players. We don’t expect that from NFL players.
