had they been white of italian descent their names and faces would be held proud and remembered... but the bitter reality is we are racists and classists, and on top these people who know true loss and chose humanity just remind us all of how inept and selfcentered we are

of course the reason are various, we live in period of dire scarsity of medical personnel which make the working environment stressful for those few professionals who also get one of the lowest salaries in the EU, but alas values are still an enormous issue
