I really liked Jsx over the wire. Maybe because I started out as a rails developer so the HTML over the wire makes sense to me. Also, cause for me the server is something I can't pretend is not there when doing react. So this walkthrough from history really captured the essence of RSCs for me.

Coming from Ruby/Rails I was surprised to have had such a good time building something in go. Sure I wish it weren't so verbose at times, but mostly I found that it pushed me to think on solutions from first principles and it worked out alright

I really wish this wasn't the case. Another option is connecting to a remote server with Terminus and using neovim, but it's still less than ideal
