ZOHRAN is asking for free “I VOTED” sticker designs. That’s spec work. And spec work devalues the artists who rely on their craft to make a living. Art isn’t some throwaway commodity anyone can do. People say “the city has lost its soul” while at the same time telling artists they’re not worth paying. It doesn’t matter if it’s “for a good cause.” If you want art, respect artists. Pay artists. And it’s fine to tell a candidate you don’t like something. Especially when you have a livable wage platform. Stop with the culty Zohran-bro energy. It’s embarrassing.
