Finally, I found a social network that will replace Twitter. ❤️
Actually, he is this guy:

Ok, no, Trump not this guy. No.
For some reason this man popped into my mind today:

It looks like something bad is happening...

I'm sure Putin receives reports like this and therefore believes that he is doing well.
“Expert Chirkov predicts that Russia will remain the world's fourth largest economy for a long time”.This is just ridiculous. This is not serious economics, russia is an mental asylum not a country. Fourth largest economy based on russian fake statistic maybe?🤔 #NAFO #Fellas

And about the pleasant things. Again i want to say how much I enjoy reading the feed here, and just staying here. Still my friendly social network where people with similar views. No right-wing radicals, obscurantists, revanchists, russian trolls, only our own people. 🥰

The only thing that casts doubt is that Putin has not yet responded to Trump's ultimatum. Perhaps this means that he has doubts, that he is wavering. But even if so, it is unlikely that he will back down - he simply does not know how to do this.

I am sure that now he thinks that everything is fine and will continue his “Istanbul maneuvers” – to create the appearance that everything is going according to his plan, on his terms. As if no one forced him to change anything - neither in the conditions nor even in the place of negotiations.

Like Nazi Germany, Russia is now a threat to World, threat that can only be destroyed through a war it itself has unleashed. So let it go on this path to its end, so that it will forever remember the fatality of the path of imperial revanchism. Putin's stubbornness and self-confidence will help us.
July 20, 2025 at 12:22 AM
I mean, yes, let's say Germany had surrendered in 1944. Yes, fewer people would have died. But an ultimately undefeated German Nazism that retained power over its territory would still be dangerous in the future and could have unleashed an even worse war in the long run.

And maybe that will even be a good thing. Maybe we should even want Putin to continue to believe in his imminent victory. The more catastrophic he leads Russia into, the better. It would be much worse if he stood on the edge of the abyss and step back.
July 20, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Of course, it all depends on how bad things really are in Russia, and how well Putin knows about it. If he is confident that Trump's sanctions won't hurt him (or that Trump won't do something more significant), he will ignore the 50-day deadline.

So, on July 14, President Trump gave Putin 50 days to make peace with Ukraine. On July 19, the ukrainian president proposed a new round of negotiations with Moscow. Now Putin has a chance, although I would give 80 out of 100 that he will not use it.

The Russians use the strategy of "Divide and Conquer" so that their enemies (and their enemies are the entire Western world) confront them one by one. While they destroy one country, the rest must think that they are actually peaceful and will not touch anyone else.
If they knew, saw, heard in conversations with russians what I heard, they would understand that they are literally already at war with them. At the same time, russians usually say: “No, we are not against "small man", simple french, germans, americans,” but their media and government zombify them.

I regret that I cannot show the people of Western Europe and the US how much Russians hate them. They do not even consider Ukraine their main enemy, but the EU/USA. In their eyes, even Trump doesn’t change anything fundamentally.
July 18, 2025 at 1:39 AM
I think maybe Trump, seeing that Putin can't end the war even in 50 days, will be convinced that Russia is THAT weak and will proceed from that. Yes, you should spoken differently to weak opponents. I would like to hope that this is the case.
July 18, 2025 at 1:23 AM
And, since i'm back, what changed in this? Yep, Trump said "In two weeks." Now he gave Putin a whole 50 days. Cool. Much better 😅(It would actually be funny if it weren't so sad).
Okay, when this started, they said Trump had a plan to put pressure on both sides to push them toward peace.

And now what? Now the US just saying they can leave the negotiations. We tried, now deal with it on you own. That's all their "pressure".

It's the same problem as guns - they can be used by a policeman or a bandit, but I don't think it has ever occurred to any bandit to accuse a policeman of using the same gun.

I find it funny when people like Orban or, even more so, Peskov, talk about the "threat to democracy". 😆

Instead, some kind of half-mad revenge is taking place on the part of those forces that, under the natural conditions of socio-economic progress, should have been thrown into the dustbin of history.

I feel like I've entered some parallel reality where things happen that are impossible in the normal world. In the 21st century, there really should have been an "end of history." The establishment of a clear and peaceful order of liberal democracies and the fall of the last tyrannies in the world.

To the good stuff. What wonderful images artificial intelligence is selecting for my desktop (its Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany):

When Musk became a supporter of "absolute freedom of speech," he seemed to not understand how countries like Russia or China, which are already waging a conscious information-subversive war against the Western world, would take advantage of this. Now I think he understood everything.
