I’m beginning to consider myself semi-retired, and that’s creating some strain on our relationship, so I at least partly get those stresses as well even if “from the other side.”

3/4 I don’t want to be disengaged as a form of falling back into the “safety” of my white-male-presenting privilege. (This is somewhat an illusion anyway with a government ID listing “X” under gender.)

2/? Thanks, neurodiversities, for my “overreaction” to the point of inability. So, I’m forced to walk a careful line of staying disengaged “just enough” to stay functional. Memes like this that make me feel guilty for “putting my own mask on first” aren’t helping my state of mind at all.

On another thread someone mentioned the change was probably made by the government to the USGS data that all the mapping services rely on. 😞

We ADHD’ers are “abusers” of dashes, parentheses, or ellipses. We really don’t have any choice if we want our long-form writing to be readable.
