Rents on the Mag Mile are indeed astronomical and ROI is down. However, there are other reasons. With the economy flagging, lux purchases are down. Re: crime, there have been a couple of smash and grabs, most notably at Louis Vuitton. A few muggings, too. But no murders. He makes up his own reality.
