I did some meal prep today and made a big batch of a pork/bean/veggie soup. I’m really happy with how this came out! 😋

She’s still on the sedative the vet gave her after her initiation from kitten to katten, so she’s quite looped, but is doing very well. And considering her default setting is Chaos Gremlin, the sedative is necessary to keep her from popping her incision open!

I have a very confused kitten. She got her spay done today and while she came through with flying colors and the vets raved about how well she did & how cute she is, she HATES that cone!

In my continuing war to eradicate the blood sucking bastard fleas from my home, I shampooed the carpet today. The Adorable Demon Kitten felt personally attacked by this, and is now completely baffled by the slight lingering dampness. But she has forgiven me enough to crawl into my lap 😂

Pretty sure Bastet and the Cat Distribution System knew what they were doing when they brought Vixen to me. Gave Sadie just enough time to teach her how to take care of me before she had to leave 🥹

I grabbed this bottle at Costco last week because I love octopi, red wine, haven’t seen it before, & was curious. Verdict? It’s delicious! 😋 🐙
