Agreed. You need to be your own marketing, finance, and legal team. It's so much to put on one person on top of managing, well, life.

I reposted this article recently too, because this whole "self-brand" thing has been hounding me since I finished graphic design school about 16 years ago, and it's followed me as I tried streaming, and am now starting my business. I hate it :(

yes, exactly this! I moved to Blue Sky for a better environment, yet everyone keeps reposting screenshots of awful takes from awful people that I can't block because I can't block screenshots.
