Man, I started mining Ethereum with just a single GTX 1660 😆 Those gas fees were insane, and block finality was terrifying!

When I discovered Algorand and tested it for the first time, I remember thinking, “So, this is how blockchains are supposed to work… interesting.”

That was an incredible move! So many new .algo handles popping up, thanks to the partnership with @nfdomains.algo.xyz. Also, Algorand is one of those things where once you experience it, everything else just feels secondary. Coinbase quests truly were one of the catalysts for this massive momentum.

Shame on you, Staci! Did you really sell your ALGO to buy your own plane? Heresy. 😭

There was definitely a long stretch where a loud part of the community was furious about the Foundation’s decisions, especially Staci’s.

But over time, most of the complainers moved on, and those of us who stayed got to enjoy the calm that followed!
