Sometimes I almost have to wonder whether they just do intentional mistakes for attention.

I think they're desperately trying to shape their "reporting" (i.e. Reading Wikipedia) to their audience's perceived political views.

I distinctly remember "Putin must lose in Ukraine." being uttered at the dispatch box, three years ago. Pro-Ukraine marches in the streets and all the fuss.
Apparently all that Putin had to do is wait for the West to get bored. 2/2
