I doubt these guys would've had the cojones to say the same thing if someone else was there, but then I wouldn't have had this exciting experience to share 😂

The rest of my experience was exceptional. There were at least three exceedingly kind people to every asshat I encountered, and there were a handful of other openly gay/allied individuals. I never felt in danger and I let all microaggressions slide away. Still good food and great coasters 🎢

There were moments throughout the day where I was worried someone would follow me into the bathrooms/ changing room. Although I'm ready to be a shit-stirrer, I know many other people are not, and no one should ever feel this way in general.

The guy at the locker was just waiting to police my swimsuit though. He walked off as soon as he saw my booty was covered

Some employees followed me around uncomfortably while in stores and even at the water park lockers. I tried to give the stores the benefit of the doubt as I may have looked like a secret shopper, or they may be trained to watch people carrying larger bags.

Last one was also a teen who said "pretty boy" while facing away at his friends. I'm still unsure if that one was an insult or compliment 😂

This was also a day filled with Christian youth groups. Any kid/teen that actually noticed the hat either didn't know or didn't care. There was one teen boy in a group of 3 who mumbled the words "fucking faggot" towards me as I passed by. It was also spoken so soft that I thought I misheard him

First, as I was walking across the park to Thanksgiving, sla man in his 40's mumbled "Hitler" while walking with his two pre-teen kids. He spoke so softly that I wasn't sure if I heard him right the first time. He picked up his pace before I could get a good look at him
