I didn’t go to a protest today, since I was adopting this long man, who was the victim of a gunshot wound to the face. I got his sister Emily the day we learned Biden had won in 2020, and I got Milo on No Kings Day.

This tiny orange monster is five days post-op on seemingly successful surgical repair for a mostly missing soft palate. He’s a little sleepy from the gabapentin but doing so well. Best holiday gift. #cat #proofofcat
