My family does a pie day in mid-September. Coincides with the ripest of our favorite fruits AND my husband’s birthday (pie is his favorite). We always get questions about why we don’t do it March 14.

They also talked about how protein powder is considered a supplement rather than a food so regulations are more lax. I think your pasta is tested more often because of it being a food. I am curious about the shakes though as well.
