It was Tree Trimming Tuesday at our place! I was up on the ladder with our Living room Tree. And if you look out the windows behind me, you'll see someone up on the ladder with our front yard Tree. 😁

Other than voting at every election, I've never been politically active. That's all over now. Several of us were sworn in as Precinct Chairs over the wknd. Very excited to roll up my sleeves for this joyful work. 💙

Such a beautiful story & what an extraordinary person to grow up around. I'm so fortunate to have been raised by some extraordinary women myself. My Momma, 2 wonder grandmas, a 2nd mom in my friend's mom, & 4 wonderful chosen grandmas. They're all gone now except for my Momma. Thank you for sharing.

I think right now it looks like a mish-mash of oligarchy, kleptocracy, and authoritarianism. But the past 6 days have given us reasons to be hopeful that we can fight it off. The election of Judge Crawford & the turnout on Saturday are very good signs, to me. The wind is at our backs y'all.

We are not alone. This week has shown us just how many people all over the country are in this fight with us. Stay strong y'all. There are tough times ahead, but we're tough. We can fight through this & build something much better on the other side of it...
