Valve registered new trademarks for the Deadlock (they already had ones for the name, but now it's a full logo). I don't think it means that they gonna make it open soon, but preparation for the future promos seems reasonable

Valve are working on additional Marketplace verification using the Steam mobile app for items in the "per item" category, mostly Counter-Strike 2 skins. Found and shared by @lifeismana.bsky.social.

I continued to experiment with a skin that changes color based on a random seed. Now I finally figured out how to include full RGB spectrum! The RVNDOM CAMO finish combines a modern, angular camouflage pattern with industrial black polymers. @counter-strike.net

Recently added pattern-based @counter-strike.net charms inspired me to experiment with a skin that changes color based on a random seed. There are 999+ unique color variants, including red, blue, pink, purple, all sorts of mixed fades, as well as the ultra-rare black & white pattern.

Noticed a recent spike in obvious cheaters in matchmaking? A bunch of people asked me if the CS2 developers disabled VACnet, but it looks like they updated their equipment for everything related to machine learning inside Valve. I suppose that could be the reason...
