I know almost nothing about this game except I gifted it to my tactics-loving stepdad five years ago and it's one of his most played games on Steam. He put over 200 hours into it.

I go insane every time I see these. It's like someone paying thousands of dollars for a refrigerator that says 'SCROTE' on it.

I was thinking the exact same thing! It reminded me of the freebies Disney started charging for. Like, you can't enjoy the upgrades of the $450 console you just bought without making additional purchases??? It feels like you're paying Nintendo for the privilege of them extracting money from you.
