but the skills i learned in getting the english degree are so adaptable and necessary. humanities majors, i think, are teachable employees in many many fields.

the first medical office i worked in hired me, stating specifically that they were excited i was an english major.

a dedicated salary at a job i care little about, thus having to use no brain space later to worry about the job at home? great for personal project time.

i work a full day today, and maybe a partial day over the holidays, but i’m actually off from the 24th - the 1st lol
