Another thing I recall about Charlie, who I did not kill, was how he rang me to tell me (this was before I did not kill him) how he appreciated the fact that I would never kill him and I told him that I certainly would not kill him, ever, and later went on to not kill him at all, ever, never, ever.

Deserved!

In episode 3 of Adolescence, Owen Cooper and Erin Doherty gave two of the best performances ever seen on the small screen ...or a screen of any size.

RIP Dave Taylor. I didn't know he passed. Loved anything I saw by him and loved his Gaudíesque Mega-City One.

'The Royal Hotel', a tense and very good movie from the director (Kitty Green) and star (Julia Garner) of the also great 'The Assistant'.
It might be on Netflix in your neck of the woods.

Pretty sure I had prog 1 when I was small, but when my cousin brought prog 225 into our caravan, I stayed reading for years. Nemesis getting revenge on those who hanged him and the second parts of 'Judge Death Lives' and 'The Gronk Affair'. Never enjoyed a comic that much, before or since.

Tokyo Sonata starts out Koreeda and then goes Kaurismäki.
I love it.

Went to see Weapons. Wasn't sure what to expect. Really enjoyed it. The commentary from two teenage girls sitting a row behind made it even better. The ending is great. Recommended.
