That’s called old person syndrome. We will all suffer from it some day, sadly. It’s the expectation that others will conform to rules, laws, norms, or science that has long been debunked, updated, or advanced. This law/norm is often confused by those that came from an era that drove model T’s.

We didn’t choose the destination so that colors the view of a place sometimes, I’m sure the old town will make a good stay. Crazy your route to Albania takes you through Bari. Is it the airline you are traveling on?

My info is a little dated but if you can find a place near Bari Vecchia, the old town. About 10 years ago as you moved out from there it may have made you question why you went to Bari, sadly. Hopefully they have rallied since then. It was just post the European financial crisis so 🤷‍♂️ (maybe during)
