I really hope so Hugo. We’ve shown flashes at times but our performance floor is just so low and we’ve seen it too many times this season.

McMillan cannot get here soon enough. So many elements, if not all, of the game has regressed this season. He has so much on his to-do list on Day 1.

Fair summation. Missing Nanks will be huge I feel, as will the bench composition but you’d have to fancy LAR. You never know though, you never know… will be a fair smattering of red around the ground though!

Slowly building a squad, with the focus on squeezing every last bit of juice they can from the group during this 6N. Change is slow and we’re conservative by nature. Let’s hope it works! One last trophy from this group is the goal!

I think that’s fair. I suspect this will be the last time we see a squad sheet with these names - AIs will tell a lot but plenty of rugby to be played yet. When the rubber hits the road in a couple weeks all this will hopefully be behind us but defeat to England and well… I don’t envy SE!

Hard to argue with backing a winning hand but you’d worry about the WC cycle ahead of us and starting behind rivals in building a squad to (finally) deliver at one. I get the “cohesion” argument, but damn, this is an uninspiring squad sheet.
