Little disappointed in AFGE’s statement about the shutdown. It’s hurting federal civil servants for sure, but millions of our fellow citizensare going to lose healthcare. Losing our country to fascists will hurt a lot more. Funding a CR is only going to take pressure off the Rs.

Just want to recommend the Rule of Law episode from the Civics 101 podcast. It’s the kind of thing you sort of know already but it’s a great refresh and it is such an issue right now.

Are there any groups out there focused right now on shoring up state and local government to resist fascism in our federal gov? Looking for a way to contribute. This could be the time for federalism to shine. We need a playbook for anti fascist states.
