I made my 1st foam prop with no template. I made my own mold, template, and design. I am well pleased with the resulting shape and overall design. I do hate that I let myself freehand the emblem. Next time templating that def. But. Now I can arm the warriors of the Imperium with mk1 Cadian Helmets.

Well. I am calling this project done. A real #colonialmarine helmet to go with the full armor I made last year. I love the #Alien and #aliens movies. I am pretty happy how this came out and my son is jazzed. That is all that matters. #cosplay #costume

Calling it done. Paint job finished. Added 2 inch steel bracket reinforcements on the seams and the back stock as well as a nylon 3 point rifle harness. I think the boy will love it and it might survive the con. #3dprint #propmaking #cosplay #aliens #colonialmarines
