☄️ Martin Mašek, also using FRAM, also discovered the Christmas comet C/2024 Y1 (Mašek)!

Finally, Vojtěch Šeda introduced the upcoming comic book 'Taje nanosvěta' ('Secrets of the Nano- World') developed at @fzuavcr.bsky.social thanks to the support of @czechacademy.bsky.social. The comic book is about to be released soon. Vojta's drawings truly make the nanoscale world almost tangible!

Vladislava Vojtíšková, Josefína Jonášová and Štěpán Jílek talked about the beautiful mural at Ládví honouring Jaroslav Heyrovský, supported by @fzuavcr.bsky.social and J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry of the @czechacademy.bsky.social, and about engagement through science art.

@jelenabraum.bsky.social and Alexandr Prokop introduced technecium.org, which has been helping especially high-school students in science and tech internships, scientific, tech & science art projects and contests for years, with amazing results! We are happy to be starting this collaboration.

On this #InternationalDayofEducation, we were proud to thank our scientists active in education and outreach and to welcome guests involved in various #scicomm, #sciedu and #sciart projects.
