The reactions of OH radical with CO, NO and NO₂ are central to the atmosphere, but their rates in air with water are rarely measured. Scientists at ICE-3 @fz-juelich measured them accurately using laser flash photolysis and laser-induced fluorescence.

Water vapour trends from commercial aircraft flights ✈️
