I think it's silly to expect them to take a loss in a situation like this . I could buy that argument in like a natural disaster or something, but why should they subsidize people getting drunk on NYE? It's 100% predictable. Can't afford to pay market rates, don't get drunk. or take a bus.

Uhh not unless it had no flour (or the flour is sterilized before), it is flour, not eggs which is the major risk behind raw dough.
