in my haze of umas, valorant, and mini painting, i remembered that this is supposed to be an xiv account.

And now I’ve started work on the fire! it’s not done yet, this is more of a proof of concept, but I think it already looks pretty cool.

I then decided to work on the metal of the bomb, which I’m very happy with. Especially proud of the rust effects in the gouges.

I’ve been tackling it in chunks, and I’m not finished yet, but I still wanted to show off my progress pics. First I used an airbrush to apply a smooth red base coat, then painted the torso armor gold with a red wash over it. Gives kind of a rose gold effect I like.

Today I want to show off the miniature painting project I’ve been working on! I took the artillery witch STL from #trenchcrusade and Embiggened it. I decided I wanted to paint a model for display instead of for gaming

So weird shout but my friends and I are doing a Lord of the Rings ttrpg campaign so we all got together and watched War of the Rohirrim. Expected to hate it, came out shocked at how much I enjoyed it. It's not -amazing- but I feel bad for not supporting it in the theaters now haha
