It’s D all the way for me

Well we have Levy and the board to thank for that. 25 years of flip flopping on coaching style with no clear football strategy

The coaching team put in the work with the players to get them physically durable and improving on certain aspects of their games. They deserve credit for that irrespective of the style of football. Which I also dislike btw

I can work on the assumption that TF is trying to rotate more proactively than some, so started without WO. and United are poor but better than Copenhagen so for me that’s another level up and he’s done well.
Let’s hope the upward trajectory continues then it’s credit to TF and team

So frustrating

His best so far. Classic Tottenham to throw away a win
November 8, 2025 at 2:27 PM
Such a low quality half of football. Is this what the whole league looks like this season?
November 8, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Set pieces are a legal part of the game of football so I do think they should be counted as part of xG numbers.
But yeah I get it’s a bit lumpy at the mo
October 27, 2025 at 9:41 PM
I think we got 2 xG against Everton no?
October 27, 2025 at 5:04 PM
Yeah pretty ‘functional’ stuff which looks a bit ugly when we lose but certainly provides a bit more consistency and stability I believe. Helps players physically manage game load too I think. Slower tempo. When we’re chasing a game the long throws feel artless. Let’s see what the window brings

Combo breaker coming up!
October 26, 2025 at 6:38 PM
Back to back excellent games.
October 26, 2025 at 6:37 PM
Well your will to win the argument has certainly defeated me. Enjoy Spurs this season. Let’s hope it all comes good. I didn’t want Ange sacked but here we are. Another wild swing in coaching style, as was the signature of Levy. Let’s see

That lot won an FA Cup 5 years ago and have since gone on to win nothing. Newcastle don’t strike me as more likely to win this season than last. I don’t know if your theory holds weight outside of a Sky studio
October 23, 2025 at 1:32 PM
And how well did the team play on average over the second half of last season?
October 23, 2025 at 1:30 PM
Where are Maddison, Solanke and Kulusevski?
Where is Son?
October 23, 2025 at 1:01 PM
Two accurate statements that have a looser relationship than we might like to think. Last season we were playing like a relegated team. The squad is now possibly weaker. Coaches have comparatively minimal effect on results
October 23, 2025 at 12:07 PM
You’re dropping Kudus on the weekend are you?
October 22, 2025 at 9:03 PM
He had a Monaco defender almost immediately on his right shoulder and his body was a bit closed off so it would’ve been such a tough pass for a young player who isn’t a 10. Still, would’ve been great to nick it 1-0
October 22, 2025 at 9:02 PM
AG did his best. That’s a very hard pass to make.
Xavi less good with his play. Lots of improvement needed from him
October 22, 2025 at 8:59 PM
Feels like he can break lines with running and dribbling. Doesn’t look like he’ll break lines with passing though. We need that skillset in the squad
October 22, 2025 at 8:57 PM
Does feel at the moment like it’s getting worse. Ugly options at CM. Lots of squad building to do
October 22, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Wow this feels extremely sad

One of the best ever
