Good point. There are other things about sports that bother me more, such as the proliferation of gambling, which is even promoted by the announcers. It's a hard habit to break, as much as I love to watch. Kinda gotta put blinders on.

It's hard to believe you're a regular watcher because I hear this after most games from players and coaches. I'm a 49er fan and Brock Purdy (who I love as a player) was extreme in this sense. He seems to have toned it down. Maybe a 260 million dollar contract has changed his perspective?
