In beautiful Fourth of July weather, the local park in my neighborhood outside of Los Angeles is completely empty. The streets are quiet. Not a lot of celebrating around here.

Hands Off rally in Lakewood, California. This is only one segment of the crowd that filled both sides of a long couple of blocks. So much energy in the crowd and in cars as they stopped at the lights.
