Same author ( @xgranade.com ) with another perspective on AI usage and output -- this post was locked, so I obtained permission before screenshotting and posting here. (The contrast is in relation to using e.g. auto-focus/on-demand face recognition when taking photos)
A Mastodon post by Cassandra Granade ("Cassandra is only carbon now") [at]xgranade[at]wandering.shop (mirrored to Bluesky at @xgranade.com ) which reads: By contrast, genAI fundamentally alters my relationship to the photo, in an incredibly toxic way. It changes how I relate to the concept of "truth" (already somewhat of a weird concept in photography, but I digress). It's no longer something I can reproduce with mechanisms I can control and understand, it's doing something fundamentally opaque. That's not a great relationship for one to have with their art, even under the best of circumstances.

A post on Twitter by Cameron Kasky @camkasky (which reposts an apparently AI-generated picture of Thanksgiving dinner on a plane on a table with Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Eric Trump, Mike Johnson(?), and Robert F. Kennedy sitting around it, posted by Secretary Kennedy) that reads: It is common sense to ban government officials from posting AI generated images. It poses a threat to our already devastated media literacy and is damaging to our democracy.

Okay, but actually, this is cheating because the computer is 6 years older than I am and we got it used. I could use it, but it didn't really do all that much (read: we didn't have a lot of programs for it and it didn't have a compiler or anything)

This is my "more real" answer
Acer Aspire 7121 computer tower; lots of holes on the left side case cover, and in the front, the body starts at a narrow base and curves outward before sloping back slightly. There is a 3.5" floppy insert at the top, a CD-ROM directly beneath it, and a door with a dimple at the top that would be pressed to open, presumably for expansion drives. The Acer logo is on the bottom of the front.
