there is something so uncanny valley about the simpsons season 1…i must never have seen it much if at all as a kid because it feels so trippy with the more untamed animation, homer’s voice, and especially the gradient backgrounds like i kinda love this weird fake nostalgic vibe i have for it all

fate of ophelia reminds me of willow in the way she described the latter as being like a love chant cast by a witch to put a spell on her man…the melody just has that sort of vibe for me and i am beyond obsessed with it

i think every piece of art deserves to be critiqued, and that people are allowed to not like things. but i find it weird to expend energy on things i know i won’t like you know? e.g idgaf about cardi b so i didn’t listen to her album. so every ts album cycle i’m surprised at how many ppl hate-listen

actually romantic…i have very few thoughts tbh it’s def not a song i’ll revisit often. i think it just should have been a completely different vibe…idk im choosing to just enjoy it at face value and move on

i think i actually haven’t processed ruin the friendship, wish list, and honey properly bc the other songs are occupying my brain completely rn but every time i listen to them i’m so on board and vibing, especially rtf…the lore…who would ever think this album would have a forever winter sequel???

love being immune to taylor hate like i’ve been doing this for so long i know how quickly people tend to switch up on her…anyway showgirl is a complete smash and a classic album for me already (eldest daughter is meh and cancelled is…what i thought it would be but everything else is class imo)
