I can appreciate that these sets bring in new players that would have never played. But it's also driving many entrenched players away - how many new players stick around for the next set after their pet IP is done? I want new players, but can relate to people saying it's become unrecognizable.

They were all slam dunks, as I think ATLA is. And to be clear, I've been excited about many of the UB sets (but not all, and that's it's own problem). The major issue is that they're putting out way too many products in such a short span of time. It's overwhelming and a big turnoff.

Yeah mergers and buying up other companies really blows. Not to change subjects completely, but I fully blame Hasbro for the oversaturation and crossover frenzy of Magic the Gathering products over the past 5ish years.

Five year old and five month old at home, and our goal is to keep them offline as much as we can. I accept that will become basically impossible in their teenage years, but we'll do our best to instill responsible behavior and practices when using it. It's definitely scary, though.

I always heard XIII was fine, XIII-2 was surprisingly good, and LR was awful.
I only played the first and can confirm it was fine. Would love a remaster or whatever to modern consoles for better load times.
