I notice this when you scroll as far back as 2008 in streetview on my Catford street; no potholes(!), used to be a corner shop at the end of the road (now a shabby resi conversion) and no hedges overgrowing into the pavement.

No, so many neighbourhoods have had the life sucked out of them by losing shops, I don't want my neighbourhood becoming a dormitory. Just build more so the population can grow and support a vibrant local economy, it's that simple.

London's transport network just isn't built for the city we have now, yes I can get to London bridge from where I live in 25 minutes, but if I want to see friends in Peckham it's a 40 minute bus...or 15 on a lime. No brainer!
