My thanksgiving dessert this year was a cheesecake flavored with a birch beer reduction, crust made from a combo of almond cookies and graham crackers, and topped with vanilla frosting mixed with root beer extract. I love how it turned out!

Yakuza 4 - 2010/2021 (PC)

3 was an interesting departure from the standard formula of Yakuza and 4 was an even more interesting one. A story with 4 main characters whose stories come together in very interesting ways. The story was thematically brilliant, however I wish it were a bit longer.

Clock Tower - 1995 (SNES)

I've yet to get the S ending, but after having gotten every other ending I can say that it's a fantastic game. A ton of subtle details and differences between playthroughs really make this game shine in unique ways.

Little Nightmares III - 2025 (PC)

While I don't think it's nearly as bad as people are making it out to be, I do think the new devs stuck too close to the original games making it seem like an imitation rather than a new game. It was still fun, but had some frustrating platforming sections.

Silent Hill f - 2025 (PC)

Absolutely amazing entry to the series. Ryukishi07's fingerprints are all over the story, but in a way where it still feels unmistakably like Silent Hill. The story is full of amazing twists and the combat is better than I expected it to be. I'm excited to try NG+.

System Shock: Enhanced Edition - 1994/2018 (PC)

I can see why this game was so influential. Very much ahead of its time in pretty much every way. Fuck the 3rd stage specifically, but the rest of the game is cool. The final boss fight made me feel like I was in the movie Hackers.

I saw the words "Nami and Zeus" and briefly read it as "Norm and Zeus" so I made this in Photoshop.

The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy - 2025 (PC)

A game is unlike anything I've played or will ever play again. With 100 endings feeling like a daunting task, it somehow ends up making you wish for more. Not every route was amazing, but the ones that were are stories I'll never forget.

Uncharted 4 - 2016 (PS4)

I've been meaning to get to this for a while since it came with my PS4 and just hadn't. I didn't think it would reach the peaks of 2, but I was mistaken and may potentially consider this one the best of them all. Fantastic story and the gameplay is much improved.

Battlefield 1 - 2016 (PC)

*This score is only going to be related to the base game campaign*
Some of the stories were solid and overall it touched on a very cinematic idea of WW1 was like. That being said the stories were pretty hit-or-miss depending which one you did. It was fine I guess.

Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai - 2013 (PC)

A wonderful story about belonging and kindness. Every route explored these themes in beautiful ways and none of the cast members felt like they didn't add anything to the story. My only complaint is that it had a tendency to meander and slow to a crawl.
