Yesterday morning out with the dogs. A lovely hazy morning. But wet. Not that the dogs cared.
A small dog is just visible on a footpath through a field of long grass. The sun is in a hazy sky with mist showing below it. There are also trees to either side.

We have a solitary horse chestnut tree in our front garden. Most years we collect a few but this year it has excelled and so far we have collected over 450 and it's not empty yet. We've never managed to collect more than this bowl will hold before but I think we might just do it this year.

A small, light brown dog curled up on the sofa looking at the camera. This dog can do anything that requires 100% enthusiasm and no other skills whatsoever. A small black dog with hints of brown. Looks very much like a Working Cocker, but isn't, quite. She is laying on the carpet next to a patio door. I have clearly disturbed her and she would very much like to be left alone please.

A donut chart showing that our Repair Cafe (Rugby) fixes 59% of our items with 16% being end of life and the rest (25%) having some sort of imperfect fix or awaiting parts. We have seen 132 items in the Repair Cafe so far this year. We are (very briefly and slightly cheakily) shown on repairmonitor.org as being the Repair Cafe having done the most fixes this year. Rugby 132, Kenilworth 129, Weymouth 120 and more going down.

Does anyone know why the standard English alphabet isn't good enough for my Android phone?

The gate post that a delivery driver got in November is finally being fixed. Step one. Dismantle the bugger.
Our brick gate post; the end of a brick wall which has been hit by a delivery van reversing into our driveway. There is a large crack at the base of the post going diagonally up through the wall. The same wall and post in the previous photo, but the broken section of wall and all of the post have been dismantled. There is a near pile of bricks in front of the wall along with a pile of broken bricks.
