The second is that they don’t understand unintended consequences, that they cannot see 3 to 5 to 10 steps ahead. They continue to look at “silver bullet“ solutions as a panacea without looking ahead to what those ideas will generate in response from the victims.

I wish I could find the thread on low information voters. Should have reposted it. Brilliant take on how people with low math skill don’t understand the enormity of a billionaire’s wealth. “Why are you mad at them for being successful?” It’s just a big number they don’t grasp.

Happy the platform is here and curated. Perhaps we will see a slow shift as the other platforms deteriorate. Not giving up yet either.

One of my favorite parts about FB is seeing the looney right and reading what the latest talking points are on Newsmax and Fox. Since they have gone full MAGA little seems to remain of civil discourse.

My unfortunate hope is that there will be a rude awakening when the GOP starts inflicting cruelty on others. Only then can the emotional connections motivate change.
