Erebos would have taken Gortash's place as a tyrant, but he didn't stop at the Sword Coast– He became a ruthless dictator who actively and very publicly enjoyed torturing living beings. He doesn't truly love Gortash, he keeps him "docile" (lobotomized) for his own benefit.

To be honest I never felt like I fitted in inside the bg3 fandom 😶🌫️ I don't know how to explain it, but everyone here is so talented and has such amazing ideas and I'm just— sitting in my corner doing the same things over and over again. I doesn't seem like I can help it, I find comfort in repetition
