Steam and Itchio have been removing adult games ーof potentially questionable taste (or not) but totally legalー due to pressure from visa and mastercard.
And everyone is angry because payment processor should just process payment and stop trying to tell people what they can or cannot buy.

Your first mistake was assuming that decisions makers have any form of actual technical knowledge about the subject matter outside of business management.
