Today we celebrated the wedding of our bro @kidneon.bsky.social to Kiera, and what an amazing and beautiful day it was. Brimming with love, and IVERSEN (London's finest synthpop band) even became a wedding band to top it off. Congratulations Jay!

In what is the clearest successor yet to debut, Into the Night, Tokyo Nights secures L'Avenue as one of synthwave's slickest and most consistently authentic producers. The attention to detail is on point, complex scores are smoothly delivered, and the choice of vocalists (only recently employed in his work) complement without obscuring the signature L'Avenue sound. Thematically, we're once again enveloped in a neon-lit world of vice and desire - and we disappear into a movie of our making.

In the bottom left corner of the image, you can see what looks like the plug end of headphones or earbuds with a gold-coloured connector. This arrangement captures a slice of pre-digital music technology from the 1980s/1990s era, when portable cassette players and mix tapes were popular ways to listen to and share music.
