Professor Turo Alamilla was one of the greatest minds of his generation, though his fascination with the distant future grew into an obsession over time. Even after a near fatal accident that left over half of his body replaced with cybernetics, he still chose to pursue his ideals of bringing Paradox Pokemon to the present. Aware the continued operation of the time machine could lead to an ecological disaster, his AI selected four Uva Academy students-- including Arven Alamilla-- to travel to Area Zero in hopes of changing his mind and shutting down the machine. This attempt failed as the Paradise Protection Protocol ran its course, eliminating any obstacles in Turo's way. And just as predicted, the region eventual fell to the multitude of Paradox Pokemon who destroyed the ecosystem and caused a mass extinction. Turo does not remember any of this happening after he and his AI were dragged into an Ultra Wormhole and transported to another version of Paldea. Here, he had supposedly died and the time machine was permanently shut off. He had forgotten about the time machine and the origins of the Paradox Pokemon entirely, and he currently believes that he was the one to built the Paradox Pokemon by hand. He also does not remember his family, friends, or colleagues from the League or Uva Academy. His AI retained all of his knowledge and has been filling him in on what he has forgotten, but it has kept the true origins of the Paradox Pokemon a secret in hopes of preventing him from trying to create his ideal world again.
