I’ve been reading Marvel comics since ‘75 and I did not want or need a Kraven movie or a Madame Web one - James Gunn makes things about characters nobody has heard of also but they do well because they are actually good movies (or TV shows)

But overall I try to avoid the use of most animals on set other than dogs who, again, at least on my sets, love performing for treats & pets & praise & interacting with the cast & crew. PS I love cats, but their innate independence makes them hilariously shitty actors.
