Literally fell asleep in the dollar theater watching Requiem. A horror movie has to be so, so bad for that to happen for me.

Probably didn’t help that the movie was so damn dark and the dollar theater almost assuredly didn’t have its projector bulb at full strength.

As a Genesis owner who played all three at the time, I can confirm that IV is the smoothest, best experience of the series.

I have a soft spot for II because it was the first time I’d seen anime visuals in a game and the sci-fi setting was a radical shift from most RPG’s at the time.

The previous comic showed N+S were going somewhere with this, but I do not blame Tara for not having the patience to sit through all the artifice to get to the point. Because how would she know that this time there is a point? Especially if N+S think “Hi, we live next door now!” is a “fun surprise.”

I feel Tara’s reaction to this so hard. “This is utter bullshit and I’m not going to stand here and have your deranged performance inflicted on me all night long. You want to say something for real, then come here and fucking say it.”

Love the detail that apparently Sarah’s very skimpy top came at least partially off with this awkward plunge into the pool.

How about the fact that pictures and screenshots don’t rotate and expand when I turn my phone sideways on Bluesky? That would be nice to have here.

3, the one with the fakeout dog death that’s not for real.

Empowered is a loose superhero parody that went on so long it’s become its own thing. This character is a powerful being magically trapped in a big belt that sits on a coffee table in the hero’s apartment and comments, very insultingly and using very big words, on what’s happening around it.
