People get freaked out thinking about how the real *you* is a bag of neurons in a meat suit, but really the body and brain are inexorably connected. Your mental state is at the whim of glands, hormones, gut microbiota, etc. which I believe is so so much weirder

I think if you make a good copy of your reference, you’re almost certainly getting good mileage in proportions/rendering/colors etc. which will add up over time. If you want to stylize, rather than copy the reference, figure out the style you want to emulate and filter your reference through that!

The Final Architecture is also 3/3 bangers, GotG type space renegades with some of the best sci-fi world building. Highly recommend

Draw from the shoulder, play around with speed and how much you’re resting your hand on the surface. Critique your work and make corrections. For specific exercises you can do everyday, check out Proko or DrawABox’s line quality videos. Takes a bit of grinding, but the results are worth it
